Did you see this message, fellow activist?

The voter registration deadline for the critical presidential primary is April 8 – only 1 day away, and we need your help.

We are seeing an increase in attacks on voting rights, which is coming at a time when Democrats have the opportunity to win the state Senate this year for the first time in more than 30 years.

Momentum is on our side. But we need to ensure that voters have what they need to overcome barriers and vote their values.

Fellow activist,

In 2022, our first full year of operations on the ground, we registered 20,000 Pennsylvanians to vote and helped flip Pennsylvania's State House for the first time in over a decade. And since then, we have helped to protect that majority throughout several special elections.

Now, as Pennsylvania Capital-Star points out, if Democrats are able to win control of the Senate this November, “Democrats would have a trifecta in state government, with control of the governor’s office and both chambers of the General Assembly.”

Democrats need to flip four seats in order to gain a majority in Pennsylvania, or three seats and have the Lt. Governor break any ties. And here’s the thing: NPP’s focused regions overlap in ALL of the flippable districts mentioned in 2024.

As Senate Minority Leader Jay Costa (D-Allegheny) told the Capital-Star, “There’s certainly opportunity, but also, more importantly, there’s momentum. And I think winds are blowing in our favor, as relates to our ability to flip the Senate.”

If we pull this off, it will be the first time Democrats control the state Senate in over 30 years. Plus, even with a tie, Democrats will have the upper hand, with Democratic Lt. Gov Austin Davis casting tie-breaking votes in the event of a stalemate.

This is how we can defend democracy, and protect abortion access and voting rights in Pennsylvania. But we need your help.

We only have 3 days left ahead of the April 8 voter registration deadline for the upcoming presidential primary election. Join us in ensuring that voters in PA have what they need to cast their ballots and make history this November by donating $25 or more now → ([link removed])

In solidarity,
