Summer Lee here, and I’m reaching out because we’re on the clock, folks – 16 days. That’s all we’ve got left until April 23rd, the day we decide if we wake up with hope or regrets on the morning of the 24th.
I wanted to be the first to tell you – we’re setting an ambitious goal: raising $25,000 from now until election day. Why? Because every voice needs to hear from us, loud and clear. We’ve got doors to knock, phones to hit, and a turnout to crank up like never before. This isn’t just a campaign – it’s the movement of our lifetime. And we need every bit of help to hit this target.
Let me lay it out straight – we’re not just up against another candidate. We’re staring down the barrel of the richest Republican in Pennsylvania, Jeff Yass. Trump’s buddy, the “fantastic” guy he’d pick as his treasury secretary.
Yass has dropped well over half a million in ads attacking me and propping up my opponent. Now, if that doesn't make you pause and wonder – why’s the biggest Republican donor throwing cash in a Democratic primary? It’s crystal clear: they fear us. They know I stand tall for the people, not the big pockets. They see in my opponent someone who might fold, but y’all know that’s not me. I’ll never back down and this movement will never be for sale.
I’m here for the long haul – for the moms and dads grinding every day, for the backbone of our workforce in unions, for our teachers shaping the future, our nurses saving lives, and every grandparent out there. We’ve seen the tricks – my opponent buoyed by billionaire bucks, even nudging Republicans to switch parties and sneak into our primary. Ain’t that a slap to our values?

I'm here for the youth, bursting with potential and passion, eager to shape their own future and ours. I stand with the environmentalists and activists, those committed to protecting our planet and advocating for a sustainable future. I’m fighting alongside community organizers and social workers, who tirelessly champion the cause of the marginalized and voiceless.
I’m with every entrepreneur and small business owner, striving to innovate and invigorate our economy. And let’s not forget the artists and creators, whose visions and voices remind us of our shared humanity and inspire us to dream bigger.
But folks, we’re up against more than just a candidate; we’re facing down the full might of billionaire influence. My opponent's campaign is being propped up by mega-rich contributions, even encouraging Republicans to switch sides and infiltrate our primary. If that doesn’t go against everything we stand for, I don’t know what does.
This is a rally cry. We’ve come too far to back down now. They thought they could silence us before, but we proved them wrong. And we’ll do it again. But I can’t do this alone. I’m calling on you, yes YOU, to stand with me. Let’s pool our strength, our voices, and our dollars. We need to raise $25,000 to combat the billionaire’s attempt to derail us. It’s more than money – it’s our message against theirs.
