Every day that this COVID-19 crisis continues, it becomes more clear how desperately Americans need a strong social safety net that protects our health and economic security.

That’s exactly what we are building power to accomplish at Our Revolution, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.

In the past weeks, we have hosted virtual organizing summits in New Jersey and Maine, a national call to action on Medicare for All with Rep. Pramila Jayapal, and helped progressive champions like Marie Newman, Jackie Fielder, Georgette Gomez, and Robert Peters win important victories from Congress to the state house.

Additionally, we were proud to help Mike Seigel win more votes than Pritesh Gandhi, a doctor who was for Medicare for All until he started talking to big-money donors. Hypocrites like Pritesh Gandhi — who are willing to betray the health and well-being of their constituents to raise more money — are the epitome of everything wrong with corporate Democrats, and we couldn’t be prouder to help Mike outperform him.

The bottom line is this: reality has endorsed Bernie Sanders and proven why our movement’s ideas are necessary.

The United States is at a fork in the road, and there are two paths in front of us. On one side is corporate authoritarianism that weaponizes hatred to pit us against each other and distract us from rising inequality and the destruction of the working class.

We are fighting for the other path: a government not controlled by big money which provides working people with guaranteed health care, economic security, education, and the chance to advance in life by working hard.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen decades of conservative and corporate myths shattered by the pressing needs of the moment. Reality is on our movement’s side, and we are going to keep fighting as hard as we can to bring our country toward justice for all.
