‘They can do more’: our Gaza response update

Dear John,

The terrible attack that killed seven humanitarian aid workers from World Central Kitchen has made clear the risks of providing practical help in Gaza. Our prayers are with all of their friends, families and co-workers.

But despite these risks, our local partners are continuing to respond urgently. They have been clear that with more funds, they can do more to meet the desperate needs and provide essential items to their communities.

Why should elections matter for Catholics?

As Catholics we have a long tradition of addressing the big issues of our time. The lives of many saints show us that the greater their devotion to the Lord, the deeper their commitment to creating social change.

The next general election is an ideal opportunity to promote the common good and bring attention to the

injustices people are facing worldwide.
