Today, the biggest increase in antisemitism is found online and on social media. Given the Constitutional protection of free speech, how can technology companies curb the spread of online hate? Where is the line between free speech and incitement to violence? How does the debate between free speech and anti-Israel animus play out on college campuses? How can we respond? The fight against antisemitism previously garnered broad bipartisan support in the federal government. We are now witnessing antisemitism weaponized via partisan politics. How can we depoliticize antisemitism and better engage our elected representatives in the fight?
This is the fourth and final session of AJC Los Angeles’s Global Briefing Series on Antisemitism.
