So many Americans are struggling during the unprecedented coronavirus crisis. Millions of people have already been laid off or had their hours reduced due to a drastic loss of business. Hospitality, food service and transportation workers have been hit especially hard and many are suddenly unable to support their families.

I’m proud to support UNITE HERE, an organization representing 300,000 of these hardworking Americans and doing everything they can to help them during this crisis. If you’re able, will you donate to UNITE HERE’s Education and Support Fund so workers can continue to make ends meet and support their families?

I know that UNITE HERE is working around the clock to get workers adequate paid sick leave, paid time off and additional health insurance coverage. They’re also helping workers successfully file unemployment claims and secure material assistance. But the loss of income is so severe that it’s still not enough.
