Seattle axes program for gifted students, chooses to dumb
down entire classrooms all for 'equity'
The Seattle School Board in 2020 decided to mothball a program
called Highly Capable Cohort because it wasn't "equitable" enough, instead
choosing to put high achievers in classrooms with lower achieving students,
instead of trying to elevate those lower achieving students.
