Listen, I need you to hear this: My opponent, Rick Scott, has already spent almost $4 MILLION running attack ads.

Not only has he spent millions, he's calling me a liar every chance he gets. He just went on the record to say that I lied about his stance on abortion. Let me make this clear: Rick Scott co-sponsored a 20-week national abortion ban. I am unapologetically pro-choice, and his accusations don't scare me. I will always fight to protect reproductive freedom.

His spending and his blatant attempts to smear me and this campaign might look like a sign of strength at first glance. But that couldn't be further from the truth.

In reality, Rick Scott is terrified. Honestly, I don't blame him — polling shows our team in the lead, and experts at CNN just ranked Florida as one of the most likely Senate seats to flip blue.

Scott knows that he's more vulnerable than ever before. Last time around, he had to outspend his Democratic opponent by $50 MILLION to just barely win this seat — that race came down to just 10,033 votes. Now, he's trying to pull the same trick again in a desperate last-ditch effort to save his campaign. We can't let him get away with it: So, friend, if you have anything extra to spare today, will you chip in to help us win in Florida and defend Democrats' Senate majority?

Listen, friend, we cannot let these attacks go unanswered. He is lying, and he is spreading disinformation.

Rick Scott knows that he can't win this race by telling the truth about his record. He built his fortune as the CEO of a hospital chain convicted of what the Justice Department called the largest Medicare fraud scheme ever. He made off with millions, pled the Fifth, and faced no consequences. Now, he's pushing a far-right agenda that would ban abortions, raise taxes on working families, and end Social Security and Medicare.

My story is different. As a teen immigrant from Ecuador, I fought hard to create my own American dream. In high school, I worked early morning shifts to help my family afford rent for our one room apartment.

I studied hard to earn a scholarship that made college possible for me and dedicated my career to public service. Eventually, I ran for Congress, flipped a battleground district blue, and became the first South American immigrant elected to the House. In Congress, I fought tirelessly to expand Medicare access, lower the cost of living, end gun violence, and protect families like yours.

I've spent my life giving back to the communities that gave me so much and fighting to protect the opportunities that made my story possible. Rick Scott has spent his career getting rich and leaving working families behind. That's why I'm running for Senate to defeat him — because Floridians will suffer if he wins six more years.

But every day that we allow these ads to go unanswered, his lies and disinformation are reaching more and more voters, undermining our message, and jeopardizing our campaign. We've got to fight back, and I can't do that without your help: So I'm personally asking — if you've made it this far, will you please chip in $5 to help us tell the truth about Rick Scott's record and flip Florida blue? With your help, this race is truly ours to win.
