Herbert,

Yesterday, I met with President Joe Biden as we continue working towards reopening the shipping channel, rebuilding the Francis Scott Key Bridge, and getting life–and the economy–back to normal for our community.

This work is incredibly difficult, complicated, and dangerous, and I’m grateful to the Biden Administration, as well as all of our partners on the federal, state, and local levels, for standing by our side during this difficult time.

It’s times like these when we must push aside partisan politics and work together to recenter our focus back to the primary function of government–ensuring our neighbors' basic needs are being met.

Too often, partisanship in Washington gets in the way of progress, and we need leaders who will push through the noise and put our community's needs first. In Congress, I will do everything in my power to advocate for our communities at the federal level and secure the support and resources that our communities need.

I hope I can count on your support as we work to bring our fight to Washington by chipping in whatever you can spare so we can continue delivering for our community.
