Happy 406 Day,
John.

Montana’s home to just over one million people and we all share the same
406 area code. It makes remembering phone numbers a lot easier, I’ll tell
you that much.

[ [link removed] ]So to help us celebrate on the sixth of April, could you chip in $4.06
toward my campaign to defend Montana’s Senate seat? I’m fighting as hard
as I can to keep our state the Last Best Place, but I need your help.

Montana is the best state in the best country in the world. Here, your
word is your bond, and a handshake still means something. You can count on
your neighbors to help pull your car out of a ditch. You know your local
postal workers by name and you share family recipes with the entire church
congregation.

Growing up in Big Sky Country meant long drives, open skies, and plenty of
mom and pop shops. It was a big deal when western Montana got its first
escalator. Now, we have more than I can count on my fingers (which still
isn’t many).

Montana is home to some of the country’s most treasured national parks and
public lands. We can never take that for granted. And it’s up to us to
preserve them for our kids and grandkids.

As a third-generation Montana dirt farmer, these values are in my bones
and come hell or high water, I’ll do whatever it takes to preserve our
Montana way of life. This fight is personal to me.

So if you can, [ [link removed] ]please chip in $4.06 in honor of 406 Day. It may not
seem like much, but small-dollar grassroots donations power everything we
do and help keep Montana the Last Best Place.
