Mifepristone is a safe, effective, and FDA-approved medication that millions of women across the country rely on for at-home reproductive care every day — but its future is in jeopardy. MAGA Republicans have waged a decades-long assault on reproductive healthcare – trying to prevent the distribution of the abortion pill is just their latest disturbing move.

Here’s what happened: The Supreme Court recently heard arguments in a case seeking to ban the abortion pill nationwide, a decision that would have significant consequences for women’s reproductive freedom.

Some MAGA Republicans who represent swing districts have even gone on record saying that they oppose attempts to ban mifepristone — but actions speak louder than words.

Here’s what we are going to do about it: Pat introduced a bill that would protect access to mifepristone nationwide. Unsurprisingly, zero House Republicans have shown the courage to sign onto it.

This is just another example of MAGA House Republicans saying one thing and doing another, and the American people are tired of it.
