If these senators used insider information to profit off of the COVID-19 crisis, they must be held accountable.

Friend, let’s be clear: any public official who used insider information to profit off of the COVID-19 crisis is simply not fit to serve.

That’s why we asked you to join our call for federal investigations into Senators Richard Burr, Kelly Loeffler, Jim Inhofe, and Dianne Feinstein. As members of Congress, these senators had access to insider information about the coronavirus -- and altogether, they unloaded millions of dollars in stocks just before the market crashed.

And Friend, your advocacy worked. This week, the Department of Justice announced that it’s coordinating with the Securities and Exchange Commission to look into these massive stock sell-offs.

Now, we must make sure that this investigation is swift and thorough -- and if these or other senators engaged in insider trading, they must resign >>

TAKE ACTION

Profiting off of a pandemic would be among the most despicable ethical breaches I’ve ever seen in Congress. Instead of serving the American people in a moment of crisis -- these senators may have used their positions to enrich themselves.

And worse yet, at least two of them -- Senators Burr and Loeffler -- publicly downplayed concerns about an outbreak. But in private, they were selling off their portfolios -- unloading stocks right before they lost huge amounts of market value.

No matter your party or political orientation, we should all be able to agree: no senator should put their personal wealth before the wellbeing of their constituents.

If Senators Burr, Loeffler, Inhofe, Feinstein, or any other public official engaged in this outrageous, self-serving scheme -- they have no right to continue to serve. Add your name to demand a full investigation.

Thanks for all you do,
