Hope Walz here - Gov. Walz’s daughter!
I wanted to reach out because today is my dad’s birthday! He’s turning 60 so it’s kind of a big deal.
My dad is the best dad I could ask for. He’s a veteran, a teacher, championship-winning football coach (he reminds us all the time), and most of all, a dedicated public servant who loves this state. He works so hard every day to improve people’s lives in every corner of Minnesota, and I’m so proud to be his daughter.
That’s why I’m asking you to sign his birthday card. We’re hoping to give it to him later today, but I had to make sure his biggest supporters all had the chance to sign it.
