Join our virtual Fire Drill Friday rally on Friday, April 3!

Fire Drill Friday

RSVP HERE

I hope you’re doing well and staying as safe and healthy as possible.

Due to the ever-changing circumstances related to COVID-19, we must prioritize the health and well-being of Fire Drill Friday supporters. That’s why we’ll be taking Fire Drill Fridays online, and I would love to have you join virtually!

Building on the momentum we’ve had over the last five months, we’ll be holding weekly virtual events in lieu of in-person rallies. I will be joined by friends, actors, activists, youth, Indigenous leaders, climate experts, and representatives from impacted and underrepresented communities. Together, we will keep the pressure on politicians to adopt a Green New Deal, end new fossil fuels, and enact a just transition to a renewable economy that protects workers and communities.

WHAT: Fire Drill Friday: Virtual Rally
WHEN: Friday, April 3rd at 1pm CDT
WHERE: Join from your computer or phone!

RSVP: Reserve your spot today

During this time we will continue to partner with environmental justice organizations on the ground and in California while additionally shining light on the overlap between an inept and corrupt administration that's using this pandemic as an excuse to bail out fossil fuel companies instead of prioritizing the well-being of working families and vulnerable communities across the country.

Now more than ever, we need to come together to support each other and push for the world we want to see. Join me to hear all about how we can keep up our activism together this Friday (4/3) @ 1pm CDT.

I hope you will tune in!

Can you chip in a few dollars at the Action Network to help defray the personal cost to the eleven people arrested?

Next Court Date???
Monday, April 20, 2020
8:30am
Milwaukee City Municipal Court
951 N James Lovell St

The date is two days before
Earth Day

On Dec. 6, 2019, The People's Climate Coalition held a rally and demonstration in downtown Milwaukee in accordance with the International Youth Climate Strikes and the Sunrise Movement National Climate Strikes.  On that day eleven individuals were arrested during a peaceful sit-in protesting fossil fuel financing by Wells Fargo Bank.

The eleven people arrested are members of the People's Climate Coalition @PCC.MKE (in addition to other Milwaukee climate groups).  These eleven people (many of whom are students) will have total fines between about $1300 and $1700 depending on the eventual fines for the men.

You weren't arrested, but you can contribute by donating to help with their fines at PCC.MKE at the Action Network

Please donate $5, $10, or more.  Your help will go towards the fines of these eleven people.

Thank you,
350 Milwaukee
