Progressive champion Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is likely facing a major primary challenger this year.

DFA was proud to endorse Rashida when she won this seat in 2018. And we’re proud to fight for her again.

That’s because, in less than two years in Congress, Rashida has led on every single progressive issue.

Rashida was one of the first members of Congress to call for the impeachment of President Trump.

She has led the fight to enact Medicare for All and made the case for the Green New Deal. She also endorsed Bernie Sanders for President at a key moment last fall when Democratic Party elites tried to count him out of the race after his heart attack.

And right now, she’s helping lead the fight to secure more pandemic relief that puts healthcare professionals, struggling working families and small businesses before bailouts for big business, CEOs, and the super-rich. These fights will only be more important going forward. We need her bold, progressive voice in Congress now, and in the years to come.

That’s why it’s more important than ever that we have her back -- especially now that she likely has a major primary challenger.
