Time is running out and Rep. Summer Lee’s Democratic primary race is heating up as we get closer to the April 23 election.

Summer took her so-called Democratic challenger head-on at a debate Thursday night, where she pointed out the hypocrisy of her opponent attacking her while being propped up by a Super PAC funded by Republican billionaire Jeff Yass:

“My opponent's outwardly calling for Republicans to vote for her. She's backed by Jeffrey Yass—the richest man in PA—who's spent all his money eroding public education & abortion rights. And right now, he’s on the shortlist to be Donald Trump’s Treasury Secretary. Her entire campaign is backed by Republicans, yet she says I am not a good enough Democrat. It feels like she’s implying that there’s enough room for Joe Manchins in the Democratic Party, but not a Black woman fighting for her own community.”

So far, Moderate PAC has reserved more than $500,000 worth of TV and digital ads attacking Summer since the year started.

Super PACs bankrolled by anti-abortion, anti-education, and pro-Trump GOP billionaires have no place in our Democratic primaries or our democracy.
