John,
Over 6 million people out of work, countless more worried how they’ll make
ends meet — and who does Trump invite to the White House for an in-person
meeting?
7 oil and gas CEOs.
It’s no surprise Trump wants to put these planet destroyers front and
centre of the economic recovery. But we don’t have to stand for it.
Add your name to tell Congress that no matter what Trump wants, there
shouldn’t be a no-strings-attached bailout for dirty energy:

The global economy could be rewritten post-coronavirus. We need to fight
for better, greener bailouts and strategies that can help stop other
global crises — like climate change — not a repeat of the mistakes of the
financial crisis, with big bailouts for big business.
But these oil and gas CEOs are hoping for just that — with everyone locked
at home and worried about their health, they think this might be their
chance to resurrect the future of their industry after years of progress
by climate activists. And if we don’t fight them every step of the way,
with Trump in charge, they might just do it.
Let’s show that just because we’re worried about coronavirus doesn’t mean
we’ve forgotten about climate change. Add your name to demand that the
fossil fuel industry gets left out of bailouts:

The coronavirus is so much of our lives right now, but we can't lose track
of all the other fronts we're fighting on. Big business wants to take big
advantage of this moment -- let's make sure they don't.
