Dear Friend,

Small businesses are the backbone of the North Texas economy. I know that small business owners and their workers have been especially hard-hit by the coronavirus pandemic. There are federal resources available to help. Texas has received approval for an emergency designation from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

My office created a resource guide for small businesses to help them through this difficult time. You can access the North Texas Small Business Resource Guide for COVID-19 by clicking here. North Texas businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 can now apply for disaster loans and grants at sba.gov/disaster-assistance/coronavirus-covid-19

If you are a small business owner, please take my brief survey so that I can send you direct information about programs for which you may be eligible as it becomes available:

To aid North Texas business owners, we’ve also been hosting calls with local chambers of commerce and I held a telephone town hall with a representative from the SBA. If your chamber of commerce would like to host a call or webinar please let my office know. Also, my office is here to help you navigate the SBA process and any other issues you may have with federal agencies, so please call us at 972-972-7949.

Even if you are not a small business owner, you can find all our coronavirus resources on my website at allred.house.gov/coronavirus.

Sincerely,
