On Monday, the Senate returns to session followed by the House of Representatives on Tuesday. Almost immediately, Congress will be faced with the most pressing issue of the day — the open border.
HOLD THE TRIAL
On February 13th, the House of Representatives did the right thing and voted to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas.

On Wednesday, April 10th the House is expected to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate where it will become their responsibility to hold the trial for the American public to be witness to. In this important election year, conservatives must continue to expose the failures of Biden’s deliberate open-border policies.

Any Senator who votes to dismiss the charges without a trial will be turning a blind eye to the problem and is complicit in covering up Mayorkas’ deliberate dereliction of duty.

Alejandro Mayorkas has:



- Stopped construction <[link removed]> of the border wall.
- Expanded and abused the parole authority <[link removed]> to process illegal aliens across the border.
- Enabled asylum fraud <[link removed]> by including those leaving their country for economic reasons instead of using asylum claims properly for those fleeing violence and persecution.
- Released more than 85% of apprehended illegal immigrants <[link removed]> into the country.
- Prevented DHS from enforcing immigration law resulting in a mass decline <[link removed]> in removals.
- Boosted the profit of Mexican criminal syndicates <[link removed]> by facilitating the smuggling of human beings across the border (cartels charge people to be smuggled across).
- Forced Border Patrol agents off the line and into administrative positions of processing the entry of aliens rather than stopping them.
- Streamlined the importation of illegal immigrants with the CBP One app <[link removed]> which has been used in more than 65.3 million applications.
- Overseen the most dramatic influx <[link removed]> of illegal immigrants in the nation’s history, a whopping 10 million and counting.
- Lied to Congress <[link removed]> when he said “The border is closed, the border is secure.”

There are clearly grounds for a trial. Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer want to sweep this record under the rug. Don’t let your Senator help them.

Ukraine Spending

Conversations continue on Capitol Hill regarding a supplemental spending package for Ukraine. Unfortunately, leading voices continue to neglect common sense criteria <[link removed]> in their proposals:



- Open and transparent accounting of economic and military funds must be provided to eliminate waste and fraud. We have a right to know where our dollars are being spent.
- Independent consideration of Ukraine aid is a must. Congress should not bundle other issues to the bill. The Ukraine spending should have to stand on its own merits.
- Strategic objectives must be made so that Americans can feel secure knowing that they aren’t funding a foreign war for “as long as it takes” without end or any understanding of what a victory would look like.




This is the criteria that the American people support and it should be the criteria used when considering the merits of potential legislation.

CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act

A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is a form of digital currency issued by the government or Federal Reserve, including an “intermediated” CBDC - using banking institutions as a facilitator of a CBDC. A CBDC would be to ultimately replace the dollar and could be used to track, compel, stop, and otherwise manipulate every single one of your financial transactions.

The risks of government abuse and control are just too great. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) have introduced legislation to prevent any form of CBDC from taking hold in America and taking control of your financial life.

Equal Representation Act

In 2010, Democrats removed the citizenship question from the census leaving the census completely unable to make a distinction between American citizens and non-citizens. This means that when the census is used to draw congressional districts and allot Electoral College delegates, representation will not be based on the number of Americans in an area, but on the number of people regardless of their citizenship status.

This fundamentally distorts representation by giving it to non-citizens. Only American citizens should receive representation in American government

The Equal Representation Act would restore the citizenship question to the census so that only citizens receive representation. At a time when millions of illegal immigrants are flowing across our border, the potential for them to allocate representation based on non-citizens if no distinction is made in the census is all but guaranteed.

Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act

Introduced by Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) and Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.), the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act would defend the aspirations and safety of female athletes by making it a federal crime under Title IX for anyone who receives federal funds and operates, sponsors, or facilitates athletic programs to allow biological males to compete in athletic programs that are designed for women or girls.

This is a no-brainer, but the Left has actively been pushing males into female sports and it has to stop. The House has passed this bill with your help, and now the Senate must take up this important legislation.

State Level Action
Idaho

As radical activists try to replace science and commonsense with progressive gender ideology in sports, education, and medicine, Idaho is fighting back with H. 421 - a bill that clearly defines sex based on biological facts.
Heritage Action urges Governor Little to quickly sign this bill <[link removed]> and hopes that Idaho’s example will inspire other states to take this simple yet needed action to bring clarity to a world of confusion.
In Case You Missed It
For over a year the Biden administration has been trying to redefine “sex” under Title IX to allow males to participate in female sports at any educational institution that receives federal funding. In response to this proposed rule change <[link removed]>, you submitted 24,878 comments making up 10% of all comments submitted.


Biden’s Department of Education has been so overwhelmed by opposition that it has once again announced that it will further delay the official release <[link removed]> of its new Title IX sports rule until after the November election. Not only is the administration still sorting through all of your comments, but it realizes that the rule is simply too unpopular for the Biden administration to handle.
This is a prime example of the impact you can make when you make your voice heard. By forcing Biden to continue to delay this rule, it has been saving female athletes across the country from unfair and unsafe competition with men.
