When Gabby and I started our campaign to end gun violence,
we never imagined a day like yesterday, Samuel.

Marching alongside tens of thousands of kids demanding their
leaders take action to keep them safe from guns in their schools
and communities was so inspiring -- these students showed more
courage and conviction than the Republican-led Congress ever has.
Young people are taking gun violence seriously, and they expect their
elected leaders to do the same.

But if there's one thing Gabby and I have learned since committing
ourselves to the campaign to change our country's gun laws, it's that
the gun lobby never backs down -- and you can bet they will double
down on their efforts after seeing our movement rallying together at
the March for Our Lives events across the country.

The gun lobby is nervous, Samuel -- that's for sure. But it's up to us
to keep it that way.
