Dear Friend,
This weekend (April 6 and 7) the Church celebrates Divine Mercy Sunday, which was declared by St. John Paul II in the Jubilee Year 2000. This was requested by Jesus during a vision to St. Faustina, a Polish Nun, whom Our Lord called “My Secretary of Mercy.”
“My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy.
According to the vision: “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.”
This year, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord was transferred to Monday, April 8, celebrating the announcement by the Angel Gabriel to Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
Now is the time to start Day One <[link removed]> of the prayers to implore the Merciful Jesus and Our Lady of the Annunciation for our most urgent petitions. Please include an intention that many graces be bestowed upon Cardinal Burke.

May Jesus, the Divine Mercy and the humble virgin of Nazareth, who became the Mother of our Savior, quickly intercede for our most pressing needs.
