On Monday, April 1, Senator Calvin R. Larson, age 93, of Pelican Rapids, MN, passed away, at The Cottage in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Senator Cal Larson represented much of the current Senate District 9 for 20 years in the Minnesota Senate and 8 years in the Minnesota House. Senator Larson's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and community. His tireless advocacy for veterans, passion for education, and steadfast support for his constituents have made a meaningful difference in the lives of Minnesotans.
