Plus, with delicious food trucks serving tasty treats and refreshing alcoholic beverages from Turning Point Beer available for purchase, your taste buds are in for a treat!
Let's not forget about our VIP guests – the dogs! Spoil your furry friend with treats, activities, and awesome giveaways specially curated for them. They'll be barking with joy! But wait, there's more! Our fenced-in dog park area provides the perfect space for your pups to romp and play to their hearts' content, surrounded by new furry friends and plenty of space to run wild.

Extra Bulk Collection Days
Saturday, April 6 (for those with Monday & Thursday garbage service) Saturday, April 13 (for those with Tuesday & Friday garbage service)
We have coordinated with Republic Services to offer additional curbside pickup for our residents. You can leave your bulky or green waste items at your curb for pickup by 7 a.m. and make sure that loose items are bundled or containerized.
Total Solar Eclipse Extravaganza
When: 12:30-2:30 p.m. | Monday, April 8 Where: Hurst Community Park | 601 Precinct Line Rd.
Are you ready for the total solar eclipse? Join us at Hurst Community Park for food trucks, crafts, activities, and a range of eclipse viewing options, including free eclipse glasses (first come, first served). When the eclipse reaches maximum totality at 1:40 p.m., it will look and feel like twilight for almost three minutes! The last time Texas was in the path of totality for a total solar eclipse was in 1397. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime event, hosted by the Hurst Public Library!

Eclipse Safety Tips
Planning to come to Hurst for the Total Solar Eclipse? Check out these safety tips for this once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event on April 8.
Expect heavy traffic and sudden stops by drivers.
Be on alert for distracted pedestrians looking to the sky.
Keep your headlights on while driving, even in the daylight.
Do not wear eclipse glasses while driving.
Always keep your eyes on the road. Only view the eclipse once safely parked away from the flow of traffic.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
April 13 from 8-11 a.m. Hurst Service Center 2001 Precinct Line Rd.
Bring your household hazardous waste to the Service Center along with an ID and Hurst water bill.
Document shredding will be available. Three (3) box limit, no larger than 15" x 12" x 10" accepted. Limited space. First come, first served.
6 Stones will be on-site accepting clothing donations from Hurst residents.
Concern for proper disposal of Household Hazardous Waste and other potential surface water pollutants is a concern to all. Should you become aware of any improper disposal of any stormwater or surface water pollutant, call the City’s hotline at 817-788-7212. Information on stormwater management can be found at hursttx.gov/stormwatermanagement.
