Across the country, millions of workers do not have access to paid sick leave from their employer. In this time of crisis, that’s a huge problem.

Too many folks are being put in the position of deciding between working while sick or losing hours at a time of unprecedented economic uncertainty and turmoil.

We have to take action. I’m calling on my colleagues to support legislation to guarantee paid sick leave to 100% of our workers. Will you join me?

Workers deserve the peace of mind to know that if they need to take time off to heal, they can. Our leaders must act to ensure we are prepared to make it through this crisis, and that working-familes aren’t forced to bear the brunt of the cost.
