John, I wanted to thank you for your support last week during our end of quarter fundraising push. Because of you, we hit our goal and will have a strong showing when numbers go public. Thank you!

It’s never been more crucial for Democrats to take back the House. There are so many things we can do to make life better for folks.

Priority number one is restoring abortion access and giving women their bodily autonomy back. After what happened in Florida this week, with a draconian six week abortion ban going into effect, we MUST protect abortion on a national level.

We also need to pass the Equality Act, which would add sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity to our existing civil rights laws. As you know, Texas is ground zero for the fight for LGBTQ equality. When I’m elected, I’ll be the first openly gay person from Texas, and from the south, to be elected to Congress. I’m ready to fight for my community, and for all the communities that have been left behind by the Republican Party.

Thank you so much for standing with me, John. The GOP doesn’t want us to win this seat, so we’re gearing up for quite a fight. If you’re able, would you make a donation of any amount to help power our campaign?

Thanks so much,

Julie

I'm Julie Johnson, and I'm running for Congress in Texas’s 32nd District. Holding this seat is crucial in House Democrats’ fight to win back the majority.

Now is the time to elect an experienced and effective leader, with a record of delivering real results for Texans, who is ready to fight for you on day one.

I’m ready to make history as the first openly-LGBTQ member of Congress from the South, and I want you by my side. Will you chip in $32 to celebrate my campaign in the 32nd district?
