House MAGA Republicans have a new Election Year strategy, and you’ll never guess what it is.

A recent Wall Street Journal article discussed a memo published by House Republican leadership that directs its members to talk about abortion more on the campaign trail.

Not sure why they would talk about an issue voters rightly don’t trust them on, but we’ll take it! 🤷‍♂️

Voters across the country have shown us time and again that the MAGA Republican plan to ban abortion nationwide is deeply unpopular.

If you remember, Pat ran his 2022 special election campaign on protecting abortion rights after the far-right majority on the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade . Tens of thousands of people across the Hudson Valley showed up to send MAGA Republicans a message loud and clear: freedom includes a woman’s right to choose.

And when abortion rights were on the ballot in 2023 in places like Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia, the American people once again rejected the extremist, anti-abortion agenda put forward by anti-choice Republicans.

So we really don’t understand why MAGA Republicans would like to talk more about their plans to ban abortion nationwide — but we’re glad that we voters will get to know just how extreme House Republicans are when it comes to a woman’s right to choose.

And if Elise Stefanik, Alison Esposito, and far-right Republicans want to talk about their plans to rip away reproductive rights, Pat will happily put his record of defending abortion access and women’s reproductive health against theirs any day of the week.
