This week, I sat down with the father of a young boy tragically killed by fentanyl, a drug he had no idea he was consuming. It’s another gut-wrenching reminder of the grim reality of our southern border crisis: Drugs are pouring in, resources are running dry, and Democrats just keep looking the other way.
Â
On Easter Sunday alone, another 1,000 "gotaway" migrants waltzed right into our country without a plan or a prayer for a better life. They’re coming in droves, but America doesn’t have the means to take care of them.
Â
Democrat-run cities continue to pass the buck, shuffling them off to other places and bearing no responsibility for the chaos their party created. In Denver, they’re trying to convince migrants to hit the road and head somewhere else—but we’re just going around in circles here, folks.
Â
No matter where they end up, the crisis remains. Instead of closing the dadgum border, liberals prefer pandering to their radical base without any regard for who gets hurt in the process.
Â
Take Boston, where they’re turning an old veterans’ home into a shelter for migrants while hundreds of Massachusetts vets still experience homelessness on any given night. In New York, they’re doling out cash to illegal immigrants like there’s no tomorrow. A migrant family of four gets $1,400 every month—more than what disabled veterans or Americans on food stamps receive.
Â
The headlines keep pouring in, and immigration is now the number one concern for Americans who will head to the ballot box this November. But if we’re serious about fixing this mess, we have to get out there and vote for tried-and-true conservatives all the way down the ballot. From your city council to your state Senate, I hope you’ll leave no stone unturned.
Â
It's time we wake up, get fired up, and take our country back—or there’s no telling how much worse this will get.
