Hi there,

I hope this email finds you well. Now that we’ve gotten through the first quarter of 2024, I’m reaching out today to update you on the state of our race for this November. This email is a little longer than usual, but here are the main things you should know:

I know many of you have been supporting me for some time now, so you know that I’m no stranger to tough races. In 2022, this race came down to just 2% points, and it was the most expensive race in the state. Republicans have been trying to flip this district since I was first elected in 2018, and they’ve been raising some major funds to try again this year.

National experts have put PA-07 on the list of “toss-ups” for the 2024 Election, which means this race could go either way. With the House majority on the line, it’s never been more important to protect vulnerable incumbents like me. Not to mention, I have three far-right extremists vying for the nomination to defeat me, and the primary election is less than 3 weeks away (April 23!!).

We’ll know who we’re facing in November pretty soon, and that means this race will be heating up. I know this won’t be easy, but I have grassroots supporters like you on my side, and I know we have what it takes to hold this seat.

Meanwhile, I’ll continue focusing on the most important thing: all the work I do in Congress. My office will continue our tradition of outstanding constituent services, I will continue to work in Washington in as bipartisan a manner as I possibly can, and I will continue to work hard on legislation focused on the issues that matter to the people of my district.

If you made it this far, thank you. I couldn’t do anything without the support of people like YOU! I know we still have a long way to go and a lot of work to do, but I’m feeling the momentum and the grassroots support we have behind us, and I know we can win again in 2024.
