Dear Friend,

If you have not submitted your intentions for three Holy Masses invoking Jesus, the Divine Mercy and Our Lady of the Annunciation, please do so now, as the first Holy Mass begins on Saturday evening, April 6, the Vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday.

As the Octave of Easter continues, this weekend (April 6 and 7) the Church celebrates Divine Mercy Sunday, which was declared by St. John Paul II in the Jubilee Year 2000. This was requested by Jesus during a vision to St. Faustina, a Polish Nun, whom Our Lord called “My Secretary of Mercy.”

“My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy.

According to the vision: “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.”

This year, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord was transferred to Monday, April 8, celebrating the announcement by the Angel Gabriel to Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus. And Mary freely submitted to the will of God and allowed the Messiah to dwell within her.

Please submit your intentions for: (1) the Anticipatory Divine Mercy Holy Mass on Saturday evening, April 6, (2) the Divine Mercy Sunday Holy Mass, April 7 and (3) the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord Holy Mass on April 8. On each of those days, prayers will be sent to your email address. Please remember to include an intention that an abundance of grace be bestowed upon Cardinal Burke.

May Jesus, the Divine Mercy and the humble virgin of Nazareth, who became the Mother of our Savior, quickly intercede for our most pressing needs.

Trusting in His infinite Mercy,
