Thanks to you, support in Congress for an immediate and lasting ceasefire continues to grow. In October, just 16 of us had the courage to speak out for the humanity of the Palestinian people, but now 79 members of Congress support a ceasefire.
Unfortunately that is still not enough, with Congress voting late last month to send billions of our tax dollars to the Israeli military and to completely cut off U.S. funding for the UN agency known as UNRWA, which is the primary provider and distributor of aid within Gaza.
I need more allies in Congress fighting by my side for the human rights of all people, at home and abroad.

When Congress voted last month to send billions of American taxpayer dollars to Israel’s military and to completely cut off U.S. funding for the primary provider and distributor of aid within Gaza (UNRWA), it highlighted the urgent need to elect more members of our ceasefire movement to Congress.
In Michigan, Dr. Pamela Pugh is running for an open congressional seat and she’s the only candidate in her Democratic primary to demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
For years, I’ve worked alongside Pamela in our shared struggle for human rights at home and abroad.
