Last week, a record 6.6 million people filed for unemployment. This is just the latest reminder of the brutal economic toll of the COVID-19 crisis.

The grief and loss across the country is tremendous, and not being talked about enough. Over 5,000 lives in the U.S. have been lost to this deadly virus already.

There’s so much that we must do together to take care of ourselves and one another during this time. At Women’s March, we’re going to keep fighting for families and workers, but we also wanted to find a small way to spread love and joy in this moment, while supporting those in need.

That’s why we partnered with The Outrage to send handwritten postcards to your loved ones while supporting those who’ve lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Here’s how it works:

1. Select a postcard and choose what you pay.
2. Type a message in "Special Instructions" at checkout.
3. The Outrage will work with a team of folks who are looking for work to write and send the postcards. Card writers will be paid $15/hour.

And if you’ve lost your main source of income due to COVID-19, fill out this form and The Outrage will hire you to handwrite postcards as needed.

We know that a lot of people are struggling right now. Everyone’s well-being and safety is our biggest priority during this crisis.
