Town Halls in Mertzon and Sterling City It was great to host Town Halls in Mertzon and Sterling City this week. Thank you to all who attended and asked questions about the state of our country. In Sterling City, I presented Congressional Certificates to the Sterling County 4-H Champion Wool Judging Team. Bipartisan Congressional Delegation on Counterterrorism As the Chair of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence, I have dedicated our efforts to uncovering and combating terrorism and transnational organized criminal networks from every angle. I led a bipartisan Congressional Delegation (CODEL) to the Middle East discussing challenges facing our nations, including countering terrorism. Our CODEL provided insights into the challenges we face in countering terrorism threats, reaffirming the importance of our ongoing efforts in this critical area, and ensuring stability and prosperity in the region with U.S. allies and partners. I will continue to lead the charge of collaborating with key partners to counter national security threats and secure the homeland. Read more about our work here.
