Over the past few weeks, I’ve been meeting with constituents and groups across the Inland Empire. I was able to connect with you and your neighbors to discuss my work in Congress, what is on your mind, and how my office can best serve you. | Earlier in March, I was at the March Air Force Reserve Base to congratulate Col. Bryan M. Bailey as he assumed command of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing. It was an honor to attend this event and celebrate Col. Bailey as he begins this new post. | Left to Right: Rep. Bailey, and Mr. Jamil Dada | I held a townhall in Moreno Valley where I provided an update on my work in Congress and also heard directly from constituents about what was on their minds. I always enjoy being face-to-face with those I serve and talking about pressing issues. During the townhall, we discussed topics ranging from veterans’ care to affordable housing to lowering costs for families in the Inland Empire. | Every year on March 29, my office hosts a luncheon honoring Vietnam War Veterans Day. We hosted over a dozen veterans and their families to honor their sacrifice and bravery. As Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, I always appreciate spending time with the veterans I am fighting for in Congress. | I’m looking forward to hosting and attending more events in and around the Inland Empire.
