Friend, we got some bad news yesterday. It was tough to hear, but we owe it to you to explain what happened.

So, look: Every month we start off with a projection of what we need to raise to stay on track to our overall goals.

Everything we do plays a part in those projections: emails, texts, ads, donations on our website, phone calls, fundraisers, you name it. They all add up towards our goal — what we need to raise to win. It’s not arbitrary or random, it’s a specific amount.

We’ve had a historic campaign so far, and that’s thanks to the support you’ve given.

But here’s the tough part: We got word yesterday that Kari Lake took in $1 million at a fundraiser at Trump’s house in Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago.

$1 million in one night is an absolutely staggering amount. Even on our best days we don’t come close to raising that much.

So today, we’re coming to you. If Kari Lake keeps up that kind of fundraising we are in serious trouble. We need an absolutely huge day of fundraising to try and keep pace.
