We’ve launched our campaign to get a record number of Green councillors elected.

The elections on 2 May are about supporting local councils deliver vital services against a backdrop of years of government cutbacks.

They are also another chance for voters to tell the government it is time for a General Election.

That’s why we will be working hard over the next four weeks to inspire voters and show them how Green councillors make a difference.

John, Green councillors don’t just sit on their hands waiting for government action.

They roll up their sleeves and do what they can to create fairer, greener communities.

So let’s build on our record highs from last year and increase the total number of Green councillors from Bristol to Newcastle and even further.

It’s time for a new vision built on hope and a determination to create a fairer greener country.
