ProviderOne Social Services Announcements
Electronic Funds Transfer payment for April 5 will be delayed for some providers. The expected April 5 EFT payment will be made Monday, April 8.
As a result of a large increase in Social Service claims the payment system was not able to make the Wednesday cut off time with one of our Social Service claim files for the Office of Financial Management to remit payment this Friday, April 5.? Fortunately, OFM processed these claims on Thursday, April 4. As a result, the Social Service providers impacted will experience the following:
- Social Service providers will not receive payment for these claims by Friday, April 5.
- These claims will not be available on the April 5 Remittance Advice.
- Social Service providers will receive payment for these claims by Monday, April 8.
- These claims will be available on the April 12 Remittance Advice. The RA is the document that generates to explain your payment.
The reason for this issue is that DSHS implemented a rate change that resulted in approximately 30 times more than average claims volume.?
The Health Care Authority is working with DSHS to manage their claims submission with HCA in the future.?
