Critical Context: The UN resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza has caused a fundamental shift in U.S.-Israel relations and America’s enemies are taking notice. Nowhere in the resolution did it condemn the actions of Hamas or call for the release of Israeli hostages.

The Final Word: It was a mistake to not veto the resolution, but Joe Biden is too distracted navigating a political minefield at home to come up with a comprehensive strategy in the Middle East that aids our allies.

Then, I sounded the alarm about how Donald Trump’s support of Israel in his first term was just to serve his own interest.

Critical Context: Donald Trump has turned his back on Israel, calling for an end to the war without making any demands of Hamas to release the innocent hostages (including American citizens) they took on October 7th.

My Final Word: As another American politician turns their back on our strongest ally in the Middle East, it’s important that Americans stand strong in their support for Israel to protect itself.

Critical Context: The far-left wing of American domestic politics has consistently berated and stood against Israel every step of the way. Now that Joe Biden is trying to appease the radical faction of his party, our relations with Israel have become collateral damage.

My Final Word: America must stand strong in its support of our closest ally in the Middle East - Israel - and leaders in Washington MUST start thinking through comprehensive solutions to deal with rising tensions.
