Hi John,
It's time to talk about something that's supposed to be as American as apple pie – your local school board meeting.
A place where you'd expect parents to have the freedom to speak up for their kiddos without a second thought.
But here's the plot twist...
In many neighborhoods far and wide, there's a new trend where the very folks who should be listening – school board members – are putting duct tape over parents' mouths. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Now, you might think, "Surely, we're more worried about maintaining the First Amendment than protecting a few bruised egos?" And you'd be thinking right.
Good news is, the courts agree. We've had a couple of legal victories and trust me; we’re just getting warmed up.
We've got a handful of David vs. Goliath battles raging on as we speak, defending the right to speak your truth at these school showdowns.
So, if you're nodding your head thinking, "Yeah, those parents better be heard!" then it’s your lucky day.
You can champion the cause by throwing your weight behind the Institute for Free Speech. Let's keep the spirit of the forefathers alive and kicking – uncensored and uninterrupted.
