Extremist Republicans nationwide are coming for the reproductive rights of millions. They've attacked access to abortion, contraception, sex education, and their latest target is in vitro fertilization.

Last month, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that frozen embryos are protected under the state’s wrongful-death law — just embryos inside a mother’s womb are. This insane ruling caused healthcare providers to pause fertility and in vitro fertilization care for fear of facing prison time. Alabama's ruling sets a catastrophic precedent: states across the country could adopt this nonsensical law.

Millions of Americans struggling with infertility have long seen in vitro fertilization as a beacon of hope, allowing them to have children and grow their families.

If left unprotected, IVF could face significant legal challenges nationwide, as far-right Republicans continue to go to great lengths to ban all forms of reproductive health care.
