Trump has been building a narrative supporting the destruction of our democracy through his words and actions for years now.
When he says he’ll be a dictator on Day One of his presidency, that should ring every alarm bell we have.
Here in Virginia, we’re used to being a battleground state. We’ve got a Republican governor, and our state legislature flips back and forth between GOP and Democratic control. And now, Trump has decided that he wants to make a big play and win here in November.
America can’t afford a Democratic loss in 2024 — and with Trump on the ballot, we can’t even afford a close election.
If Trump wins Virginia… well, that’s not just a close election, it’s all but guaranteed to hand Trump a second term.
