That's it, friend — reproductive rights are effectively OVER in Florida.

By upholding the already-unconstitutional 15-week abortion ban, our state Supreme Court has given Ron DeSantis' even stricter six-week ban the green light to take effect next month.

I grieve for the countless people across our state and our nation whose rights to bodily autonomy and comprehensive medical care — and in some cases, whose lives themselves — have been stripped away. And as a mom to two young women, imagining the impacts this could have on all our futures makes me sick.

But I won't let the pain stop me from fighting back. I can't. Especially not when the Florida Supreme Court ruled IN FAVOR of our ballot initiative to let voters decide the future of abortion rights this November.

So I vow to resist with everything I've got: from taking on GOP extremist Rick Scott to leading the fight on the frontlines at home, I won't stop until we regain the rights we never should've lost in the first place.

But the only way we win the fight is if you're standing strong with me.

I still need just 272 more grassroots supporters to help me tell Florida's far-right leadership enough is enough — and friend, I'm counting on seeing your signature on my petition by the midnight deadline.
