Hi John,
On April 25, Defendant Trump will plead his case to the Supreme Court. He
will argue that he should be immune from prosecution for his crimes
against democracy and the American people because… he was president.
[ [link removed] ]Make it make sense. Attacking democracy should be especially
unacceptable for a sitting President (it's giving big coup energy, to us)—
chip in $25 to power our resistance organizing.
In our opinion, the president should be held to a higher standard;
however, Defendant Trump's specialty is lowering the bar, so this argument
is actually on brand.

Recent polls show that a very slim majority of Americans support SCOTUS’s
decision to allow Trump on the ballot, however, most of us think that
Trump should be accountable for his crimes. Under no circumstances should
he be granted immunity from prosecution.

Time will tell if the court makes the right decision here, or on the
recent medication abortion case, or on the upcoming Emergency Medical
Treatment and Labor Act case that is coming up.
What we do know is that change has never come from the Supreme Court. It
has always come from people-powered movements that held our government
officials, elected and appointed, accountable. If you’re reading this, we
