Our Journalist Impact Report

We’re pleased to publish key insights from our 7th Journalist Impact Survey. The report shares findings on the impact of our legal and financial help, as well as trends affecting the journalists we support around the world.

100% of journalists surveyed have continued their public interest reporting since the case we supported concluded.

64% believe their cases had a positive broader impact, resonating within their countries or regions.

84% of respondents believe that they will face some form of legal action in the future as a result of their journalism.

While our work supports vibrant public interest reporting, threats are increasing and the need for continued legal help is more crucial than ever.
