Donald Trump just threatened President Joe Biden's life on Friday, and
threatening the president of the United States is a crime.^1
"He's threatening the president's life. That's a felony. If anyone else
did it, the feds would arrest him," said Harvard legal scholar Laurence
Tribe.^2
Trump posted a video on Truth Social last week of President Biden bound
and gagged with what appears to be a bullet hole in his head.^3
Former federal prosecutor and New York University law professor Andrew
Weissmann explained on MSNBC on Sunday that Trump may have violated his
bail terms: "A standard condition of being out on bail applies in New York
and in the D.C. federal case and in the Georgia state case: that you not
commit a crime while you are out on bail."^4
John, Trump is a dangerous man and must never step foot in the
White House. But we cannot hold our breath and assume the legal system
will hold him accountable. Instead, we need to go all-in to engage,
motivate, and turn out voters to defeat Trump in November.

Trust in the media is at a record low.^5 But voters do trust their friends
and family to tell them about elections—twice as much as news sources or
social media.^6 Those relationships are where MoveOn's proven vote
tripling tactic shines.
MoveOn has built the infrastructure to help people easily reach their
friends and family and turn them out to the polls, which we call "vote
tripling." We piloted this tactic to turn out 50,000 voters in
battleground states in 2022—election-swinging numbers! In fact, vote
tripling has proven to be as much as five times more effective than
traditional tactics like television ads.
This year, we've already begun reaching out to 1.4 million "surge voters"
who were activated by Trump's election in 2016 but have faded away in the
years since. After our education program ends, we plan to scale vote
tripling up and turn out the margins necessary to stop Trump in November.
However, we can't do this critical work without your help. The work is
