A Message from Congresswoman Sherrill

Dear Friends,

My time attending the U.S. Naval Academy built a foundation for a lifetime of service to our nation and I continue to carry the lessons I learned as a midshipman with me as I represent our community in Congress.

Each year it is an honor to nominate the next generation of New Jerseyans to our military service academies. That’s why my office is hosting a Spring Service Academy Information Forum on Sunday, April 14th at 1:00 PM at the Fairfield VFW Post located at 45 Plymouth St in Fairfield.

If you are interested (or you are the parent of a child who is interested) in attending one of our nation’s service academies, or if you would like more information about ROTC scholarship programs, my staff will be available to discuss the nomination process. Representatives from the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine Academies, and Army, USMC, Navy, and Air Force ROTC will also be attending.
