Ayanna Pressley for Congress

Hi there! Eliza here — Ayanna’s new campaign manager. Reaching out to formally introduce myself.

Before I tell you a little bit about my story and share some of our plans for the future, I wanted to ask: Can you commit your support for Ayanna in this new election and make a contribution today?

My campaign journey has been marked by tough, but righteous fights in the spirit of building more institutional power among women, LGBTQ+ folks, young people, and all those who are underrepresented in government. When I thought about how to make the biggest impact in the years to come, I had zero doubts about joining the A-team.

In a political system that encourages candidates to go with the status quo and shy away from hard conversations, Ayanna is unapologetic, unbought, and unbossed. She relentlessly fights for her people, and she does the right thing, even when no one is watching. She knows how to build power within Congress, and how to build movements outside it.

I don’t have to tell you that Ayanna is a once-in-a-generation legislator, and someone I am honored to work for. And that’s why it’s so important that we re-elect Ayanna. She is not just a Democrat, but a progressive changemaker and a beacon of hope for people in MA-07 and across the country.

Will you please make a donation of $25 or anything you can to help re-elect Ayanna? Right now, we’re in a critical time for our campaign that will set the early momentum and send a clear picture about just how strong this movement is.

With six campaigns under my belt — in cities that are D+35, counties that are swinging purple, and states that are deep red — I can tell you that no matter the campaign, one thing is always the same. Early investments are key.

When campaigns fundraise early, they can plan early. They can hire organizing teams early. They can build a strong foundation. And then when Election Day rolls around, it’s right on time.

With a once-in-a-generation leader like Ayanna, we can’t leave anything to chance.

Ayanna first ran for Congress because change couldn’t wait. She has governed exactly like that since, changing what is possible and demanding justice and equity for all. In Congress, she’s keeping up the fight for broad-based student debt cancellation, abortion care as health care, affordable housing as a fundamental human right, economic justice as racial justice, and so much more.

But over the next seven months, our campaign will have some tough fights. We’ll need to continue expanding the electorate and build strong coalitions to prepare for a flood of right-wing money pouring into our district. That’s how we’ll keep making real change. And it’s possible, if all of us come together.

A donation today would mean that we have the early resources needed to keep up the fight for progress. So if you’re with us, make a contribution of $25 to help re-elect Ayanna as she fights for the transformative change our communities need.

Thanks for being on the A-Team,

Eliza
