# [#] I am happy to announce that my campaign will be participating as a partner in the 2024 National Democracy Summer School! Developed by my colleague, Congressman Jamie Raskin and expanded in partnership with the DCCC, this program is dedicated to training and educating the next generation of Democratic political activists, organizers, and leaders.

As a part of this initiative, I am looking for dedicated high school and college students to join my campaign as Democracy Summer Fellows! Selected Fellows will participate in an exciting on-line seminar and curriculum designed by Rep. Raskin focused on the history of social and political change in America and the progress of political democracy, while simultaneously training as organizers and volunteer activists.

Past Democracy Summer speakers have included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Professor Laurence Tribe, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Rep. John Lewis and Civil Rights leaders Bob Moses and Rev. William J. Barber II, and dozens of other luminaries of change and progress.

If we learned anything from the 2022 election, it’s that young people have the power to create real change. We’re facing an even tougher fight this year, and young activists will once again be key to Democratic progress.
