CCDBG FY2024 State-by-State Appropriations Distribution Estimates and Increases

On March 23, 2024, President Joe Biden signed the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024 into law. The act’s allocations for fiscal year 2024 included a significant increase of $725 million in discretionary funds for the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG). In a new fact sheet, we provide estimates of what the increased CCDBG appropriation will mean for each of the 50 states and DC.
