The battle we've warned about is almost here.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has "promised" he will have a
standalone vote on renewing the Deep State's unconstitutional
mass surveillance program, Section 702 of FISA, immediately after
their two-week Easter break.

But Johnson has not been clear what bill he is putting forward. .
.

There are multiple 702 bills in play:

>>> The Intelligence Committee's bill the Spy State is backing to
renew and even expand the mass spying on law-abiding Americans
(H.R. 6611)

>>> The Judiciary Committee's bill to rein in mass spying and
require warrants, as the Constitution commands (H.R. 6570)

>>> The surprise bill that came out in February to renew Section
702 spy powers with no protections for you and me unless amended
on the House floor (H.R. 7320)

And of course, there is always the threat of some brand-new bill.


Based on Mike Johnson's past behavior - including tacking a
short-term extension to the spying program to the National
Defense Authorization Act last December in violation of the
House's own rules - we must assume the worst.

According to media reports, Johnson said his "current" plan is to
proceed with the weak bill he put forth in February - H.R. 7320.


But that bill offers NO protections for Americans from
unconstitutional spying . . . unless it is amended on the House
floor!

You and I need to get out in front of this right now.

Your representative needs to know supporting any bill to renew
Section 702 with no real changes is unacceptable.

Fortunately, we know your messages make a difference. Remember,
just a month ago, Johnson was talking about stuffing a Section
702 extension in the "must-pass" budget bill - but then he backed
off right after we hand-delivered stacks upon stacks upon stacks
of your petitions to Republican leadership.

That's why it's so critical you contact your representative and
demand they END warrantless mass surveillance!

We know the Surveillance State shills are getting desperate.

Just over a month ago, the phones in D.C. were ringing off the
hook as good people like you took action and demanded the
restoration of your Fourth Amendment rights.

So the Deep State trotted out an unspecified "national security
emergency" to derail attempts to end warrantless surveillance of
Americans in the middle of a House Rules Committee hearing.

It was a transparent attempt to frighten the American people into
accepting escalating government intrusions into our lives.

But thanks to you engaging House leadership, we stopped the Deep
State just last month. You and I can do it again!

Remember - Section 702 was not only used to spy on the private
records of law-abiding Americans MILLIONS of times. . .

It was also used to vilify ordinary American political activists,
including grassroots advocates and concerned parents getting
involved with their school boards.

And it was used to sabotage the Trump administration before it
even took office.

If House Speaker Mike Johnson will stand aside and allow the Deep
State to abuse our Fourth Amendment rights, he isn't fit for
office.

Unless you and I DEMAND Congress END Section 702 abuses now, the
Deep State's unconstitutional spying program will be on-line
right through Election Day and beyond - so sign your directive
