On March 30, 2020, Governor Brad Little signed the Idaho Vital Statistics Act (HB509) along with the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act (HB500)! We are excited the Governor and many of our legislators have chosen to protect all Idahoans by choosing to support vital statistics and fair women’s sports. The Idaho 2020 Legislative Session proved successful in advancing family-centered policies.
House Bills 500 and 509, along with other legislation this session, support strong values that are important for all families to thrive in our state. At the Madison Liberty Institue, we see family as the core, fundamental unit of society and any action taken to support this view strengthens our state’s - and nation's - foundation.
However, this would not have been possible without you! We thank you for your signatures, your calls, your emails, your prayers, and all you’ve done to be movers and shakers in our state. Your voice has made an impact that will have a positive effect on Idaho for years to come.
Between upset out-of-state special interest groups and the current state of things, we know the Governor is under a lot of pressure. As such, we encourage you to send an email expressing your gratitude that he chose to protect Idaho families by signing the Vital Statistics Act (509) along with the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act (HB500) into law.
or call Governor Brad Little's Office at 208-334-2100
We know this was a major win in Idaho and we appreciate that you have supported this effort from the beginning. We know there is still a long journey ahead and hope that you will support our efforts as we move forward.
Sincerely,
The Madison Liberty Institute

Idaho: Taking Important Steps Towards Securing “The Blessing Of Liberty”
Now that Governor Brad Little has officially signed the last of the bills on his desk, the Idaho 2020 Legislative Session has officially come to a close. While it wasn't an ideal session by any means, we are pleased with certain outcomes and legislative victories.

#ICYMI: Idaho Department of Health & Welfare's 'Stay-Home Compliance Form'
Yesterday, you may have noticed an interesting form on the Idaho Health and Welfare website. Fortunately, the department's "Stay-Home Compliance Form" has since been removed and is no longer online. This form and what it sought to do is not the Idaho way. Idahoans don't tattle on their neighbors and friends.
